The Pike Clinic, operating within the Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health System is looking for a couple of School based therapists to add to our Pike Clinic team.

We are a group of treatment centers that offer residents of Ross, Fayette, Highland, Pike, and Pickaway Counties help for drug addiction, alcoholism, and a variety of other addictions, health concerns, or emotional disorders. We treat adults, teens, and children for illnesses such as ADD or ADHD, depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and other stress-related illnesses as well as offering therapy for sexual abuse. We also offer counseling services for any other emotional or psychological illness.

The SCHOOL-BASED THERAPIST will provide individual, group, family, and crisis counseling to the student's in the school served. Assisting principals and education staff in the best ways to handle challenging behavior.

Intervene with children in the community, in school, and with their families to assist in managing behavioral/mental health needs. Work in a therapeutic environment to meet all aspects of child mental health. Assist schools, families, and team in educating, coaching to child needs. Work with community partners for wraparound approach. Able to work with individuals and groups. Work with diverse age group and skill level. Work to coordinate and conduct assessments, treatment planning, crisis assistance, monitoring and overall service delivery and obtaining services necessary to basic human needs. Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LPC, LPCC, or LSW, LISW. Maintain licensure and post Areas of Competence and Services. Must have a valid Ohio driver's license. SPVMHC is a smoke/nicotine free work environment. EOE
