OhioGuidestone's Lorain County Counseling program is seeking full- or part-time Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapists. This position is flexible by nature meaning that you can create your own best work/life balance by writing your own schedule! Some nights and weekends may be required as client needs arise. Individual and family mental health services are provided in the client home as well as the surrounding community. Lorain County Therapists may also provide office based services! Caseloads (between 25-35 clients) consist of children aged 6-18 needing mental health, behavioral health, and/or AoD therapeutic intervention and are assigned based on zip code to limit your travel time.
We are looking for qualified social workers (LSW), counselors (LPC), and/or marriage & family therapists (MFT) who have an interest in working with our specialized populations! Current programs include:

Services are provided in the client home, in the school, and in the surrounding community treating mental health & behavioral health diagnoses. At OhioGuidestone, you'll receive the support you need through our training process and in your weekly supervision! This is a great opportunity to develop AND expand your skills in your field!
Essential Functions:

Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client

Provides individual, group or family therapy as needed

Available for clinical consultation

Maintains a minimum productivity level of 52% billable face-to-face contacts per week

Maintains ongoing frequent contact with other assigned OhioGuidestone professionals, parents or outside agency professionals assigned to case

Provide CPST and minor case management functions if needed
-
Assumes a strong advocacy role for clients and makes recommendations for clinical and support services needed upon discharge

Actively participates in all treatment conferences and meetings for the clients

Completes all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames

Participates in agency and community meetings as needed

Attends conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence

Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Performance/Physical Requirements:
-
Work environment can include an agency office, school based setting, or in the community including clients homes

English reading and writing skills required

Works flexible hours and is available for crisis management by phone

Computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic database usage, as well as basic typing
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree* in social work with a valid Ohio LSW

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field is preferred

LPC, MFT, LISW or LPCC or IMFT is preferred
-
Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, proof of valid Auto Insurance, and a safe driving record
