POSITION TITLE: Contract Therapist
FUNCTION: Provide therapeutic outpatient counseling services to clients to assist with healing from incidents of single, multiple or complex trauma. Provide individual and parent/child counseling services as assigned by Director of Services. Preferred experience with TFCBT, PCIT, CPC-CBT, EMDR or other evidence-based trauma therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field with relevant independent clinical licensure in the state of Ohio. Two years direct experience with individuals and children in therapeutic settings. Knowledge of sexual assault, intimate partner violence and impact of trauma. Equivalent experience and education may be considered. Must hold own liability insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Programming:
• Receive referrals, complete intake and assessment appointments to determine eligibility for services.
• Provision of individual trauma-informed counseling service to include assessment and implementation of evidence based practice of TFCBT, PCIT, CPC-CBT, EMDR, etc.
• Provision if psychoeducation groups of adults and child victims.
• Maintain accurate and complete client records.
• Maintain accurate program statistics and outcomes to submit to Director of Programs.
• Assist families in accessing other needed services through referral and advocacy efforts.
• Maintain Independent Licensure.
• Collect training outcome information.
• Provide and maintain liability insurance of up to 1,000,000.
• Reliable transportation and ability to provide services to Hamilton and Butler County offices.
• Provide crisis counseling and response as-needed

ACCOUNTABILITY: Director of Services
HOURS: Full Time
PAY BASIS: Contract
BENEFITS: Flexible scheduling, 12 holidays observed
CONFIDENTIALITY: May be involved in confidential personnel and interagency issues. Responsible for client confidentially.
