Part/Full Time LPC, LPCC or LPCC-S

Kelly’s Grief Center of Kent, Ohio is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide a safe, secure and professional environment where grieving people in northeastern Ohio will find support, education and strength to begin the process of healing. 

We are seeking a part/full time counselor LPC, LPCC or LPCC-S. Previous experience in grief counseling is preferred but not required for the right candidate. 

Essential Functions:

• ·         Provide individual group or family therapy as needed
• ·         Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client
• ·         Conducts psychosocial assessments
• ·         Attends conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence
• ·         Participate in community outreach and events
• ·         Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of groups, or seasonal programs for clients and families
• ·         Familiarity and use with Electronic Health Record
• ·         Work flexible hours
• ·         Aid in professional development of interns and LPCC-S (for supervisor)

Qualifications:

• ·         Minimum educational level Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a valid Ohio LPC or LPCC or LPCC-S
• ·          license
