Kelly’s Grief Center of Kent, Ohio is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide a safe, secure and professional environment where grieving people in northeastern Ohio will find support, education and strength to begin the process of healing.

We are seeking a part/full time counselor with supervision distinction. Previous grief counseling is preferred but is not required for the right candidate.

Essential Functions:

• Provide individual group or family therapy as needed

• Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client

• Conducts psychosocial assessments

• Attends conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence

• Aid in professional development of interns and LPC’s

• Assist in recruitment of volunteers

• Participate in community outreach and events

• Work flexible hours

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a valid Ohio LPCC-S license
