OVERVIEW: 

Pathways for Life is a small, family owned and operated social services organization. Our goal is to educate and to empower people to make better life choices. Currently, we achieve this through 8 hour rehabilitation courses and through mental health assessments. However we're looking at offer individual counseling as well. 

POSITION: 

Mental Health Counselor

DESCRIPTION: 

- Start individual, couples, and/or group counseling through the office

- Help market the company and the practice

- Instruct rehabilitation courses on drug and Alcohol awareness, theft deterrent, and Anger management

- Lead group discussions in a classroom setting

- Develop curricula and activities to be used in courses, including presentations, games, tests, etc.

- Research novel approaches to use in the courses to better reach clients

- Preform some clerical duties, scanning, emails, and phone calls

- Conduct mental health or drug assessments 

- Possibly, teach CEUs on topics of your choice

- Advocate for mental health

REQUIREMENTS: 

Licensed counselor or psychologist in Ohio

(LPC, LPCC, MFT, LP)

(Will help obtain for right candidate) 

SKILLS: 

- Good communicator

- Passionate about helping others

-  Microsoft word and PowerPoint

COMPENSATION: 

Teaching and assessments - $40 an hour

Counseling - $85 an hour
