Position: 

- School counselor, grades 5-8 at Cardington-Lincoln Middle School

- Caseload of ~350 students.

Requirements: 

- Licensed school counselor (K-12) or LSW

- M.Ed or equivalent 

Main Duties:

- Provide individual and small group counseling, and classroom guidance lessons.

- Counsel students in the domains of college/career, personal/social, and academic counseling. 

- Advocate for students and families, and link families with appropriate resources. 

- Collaborate with administration and community agencies for student and school needs.

- Coordinate school-wide programming and initiatives.

- Provide assistance during crisis intervention. 

- Understanding of PBIS, Social-Emotional Learning, and Trauma Informed Care
