    Experience Wellness Centers is seeking talented, independently LICENSED Counselors to join our soon-to-be-open outpatient practice in Dayton, OH. Position is full-time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday.

    This position requires knowledge of substance use disorder and mental health counseling.

    Qualifications: Master’s Degree in counseling, social work or other allied health field and Independent license in good standing in Ohio.

    ·         One year experience working in the substance misuse treatment field

    ·         One year experience working in the mental health counseling field

    ·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    ·         Experience providing individual, couples and/or group counseling, diverse populations

    ·         Excellent, verbal, written and computer skills; EHRs, MS Word, MS Excel preferred

    ·         Ability to work with individuals, groups, bilingual/bicultural preferred

    ·         Proficiency in clinical documentation (assessment, treatment planning, progress

    ·         The independently licensed clinician is responsible for providing mental health and substance abuse counseling services to clients in an outpatient setting. This individual will complete all relevant paperwork in a timely fashion as required by agency, regulatory bodies and managed care organizations; this includes but is not limited to: intake paperwork, psychosocial assessments and client mental health and substance use disorder treatment history, treatment plans, session notes, discharge and aftercare plans, collaborative forms and assessments, billing forms and insurance authorizations.

    Essential Duties:

    ·         Ensure and maintain the confidentiality and safekeeping of all client records and information related to treatment

    ·         Maintain up to date knowledge of confidentiality statutes (HIPAA, 42CFR Part 2)

    ·         Maintain professionalism in workplace including professional boundaries and codes of ethics

    ·         Participate in weekly staff meetings

    ·         Participate in bi-weekly clinical and administrative supervision meetings as scheduled by Clinical Director; participate in group supervision meetings as scheduled

    ·         Complete self-assessment for collaboration of performance appraisal

    ·         Participate in scheduled Performance & Quality Improvement Meetings (PQI) as directed by Clinical Director

    ·         Ensure adherence to all agency policies and procedures as they pertain to client’s engagement in

    ·         Provide continuity of quality care as evidenced by documentation/communication with collaborative providers and agencies

    ·         Provide referrals for alternative levels of care as needed

    ·         Act as client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations

    ·         Document all clinical content per agency requirements

    ·         Review client progress on a quarterly basis and update treatment plans to reflect changes in treatment plan goals

    ·         Maintain valid independent licensure and complete all continuing education requirements as set forth by licensing body

    ·         Maintain valid professional liability insurance and CAQH profile to assure ongoing contractual agreements with payer sources
